JE Moore believes in the power of "teamwork" and "knowledge-sharing" in planning and delivering client service. This always involves working closely with key client constituents throughout all stages of an assignment. Also, clients and others can sometimes benefit greatly when JE Moore retains, introduces, or refers other professionals to help with large, complex, crisis, and/or other specialized cases. To facilitate timely, appropriate responses to these situations, JE Moore maintains and cultivates collaborative-type relationships with other practitioners and firms...via the Atlanta Financial Professionals Network.

Atlanta Financial Professionals Network (AFPN), founded and sponsored by JE Moore, is a loosely-aligned, virtual community of freelance and solo-practitioner accountants, consultants and other independent professionals. Approved AFPN members benefit from the member-only LinkedIn group and subgroups, knowledge-sharing and networking with other professionals, and they receive priority consideration for periodic retention or referral by JE Moore for part-time and interim projects and assignments...and in some cases, placement on full-time, direct-hire positions.

AFPN membership is designed for professionals who meet all of the following criteria:

Practice primarily as an accounting or financial freelancer or solo-practitioner;

Work primarily in the metropolitan Atlanta area;

Provide services relating to the following roles, positions, or niches:
- CFO, controller, accounting manager, finance manager, business/investment analyst, external/internal auditor
- Business office manager, bookkeeper, or clerk
- Internal controls, SOX, ethics and compliance, corporate governance
- Fraud prevention, detection, and investigation
- Forensic accounting, litigation services, and business valuation
- Business plans, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, treasury management
- Business workouts, turnarounds, liquidations, receiverships, bankruptcy, or profit-enhancement
- Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures; business brokerage, investing or lending
- Lawyer or paraprofessional (litigation, incorporation, contracts, bankruptcy, etc)
- Accounting systems and information technology
- Taxation (Income, sales & use, property)

Are not engaged or focused in the following: recruiting and staffing, human resources, real estate brokerage and sales, insurance, stock brokerage, wealth management, retirement planning, sales and marketing, public relations, advertising, outsourced payroll, sale of equipment or supplies, etc.

Professionals in transition - Accounting and financial professionals who typically work full-time in industry or larger public accounting, consulting and other professional service firms sometimes find themselves unemployed. These individuals oftentimes wish to pursue interim or project-type work assignments while searching for a new full-time position, and thus may be good candidates for temporary AFPN membership.

Results-oriented and high-integrity professionals who meet the above membership criteria and who desire to affiliate with other high-achievers, are encouraged to apply for a free AFPN membership.
